So ist’s wohl einfacher unsere Idee eines themen- und diskussionsreichen Weblogs zu verwirklichen: Denn nicht die technischen Updates zu channelthing sollen hier künftig im Vordergrund stehen, vielmehr möchten wir uns aus dem so umfassenden Themengebiet team collaboration immer mal wieder einen Aspekt herauspicken, der uns bei der Entwicklung von channelthing besonders beschäftigt hat.

Dies können mitunter ganz grundlegende Dinge sein, wie die Beschreibung und Analyse realer Team-Workflows, so wie wir sie in unserem Umfeld beobachtet und im Konzept berücksichtigt haben. Auch über unser Interface Design möchten wir gern diskutieren, von technischen Details einzelner Funktionen berichten oder einfach mal die Überwindung konzeptioneller Hürden feiern.

Die Entwicklung von channelthing ist aufregend – zu aufregend, um einfach nicht darüber zu bloggen. :)

It’s about team collaboration with all its tricky facets. Since we three guys met in early 2007, we started thinking of a usable solution to organize our daily communication and keep track of our activities. E-Mail is a very limited tool in this context and any of those micro blogging/sharing tools like tumblr oder twitter or yammer or whatever wasn’t really able to satisfy our needs. So we’ve decided to solve this problem on our own.
